| Abstract: | Integrated Financial and Accounting System (IFAS) is a financial management system that supports UUM Bursary Department business functions since 1990. Initially, IFAS was established to solely handle financial related operations and produce financial reports. However, in 2000, IFAS was rebuilt using 4th Generation Programming Language to satisfy the needs of UUM Bursary business operations. The rebuilding of the IFAS was a great success. IFAS manage to meet all the stakeholder’s requirements efficiently and become the benchmark of financial system for other Universities and public organizations in Malaysia. IFAS consists of 12 main modules to support the overall financial operations in UUM. The modules include budget, payment, receive, emolument, loan, subsidiary, credit control, scholarship, asset, investment, GST, procurement, and student account. |
