Abstract: | CEO of An-Nur Specialist Hospital sitting in his office is contemplating the way forward to handle the growth challenges in the year ahead. 2016 will be a challenging year for the company as this is the year where the company is expected to enter the “Strengthening Phase". MIGH/ANSH are not only going to be involved in the operation of a hospital with one hundred (100) beds but will also be involved in some new areas such as medical specialist centres "Nursing Home", factory drugs "Pharmaceutical", and Information Technology Consultancy and Education. Incorporated in 2001, Medic IG Holdings Sdn. Bhd. "MIGH", formerly known as Medical Interest Group Sdn. Bhd. "MIG" was established with the aim to participate and explore business opportunities in the private medical services industry in Malaysia. MIGH sees itself as contributor to the development and growth of physicians in medical services, education and training, consultancy and research and other projects. Starting with its own medical clinic, An-Nur Specialist Clinic (formerly known as "Az-Zaharah Specialist Clinic"), MIGH has since taken over the entire interest in two other specialist clinics called; An Nur Paediatric Clinic (2006) and An-Nur women's specialist clinic (2007) - both the clinics are outpatient medical facilities. At the same time the company also has an aggressive organizational excellence performance and considerable revenue growth, reflecting good business judgment and a high degree of professionalism and dedication shown by management and staff. In 2013, the company was officially named as the Medic IG Holdings Sdn. Bhd., in line with the company's development planning program (Figure: 1). The board of directors and management of MIGH have taken the initiative to work in a wide range of expertise and core competencies in order to build a larger business group.
