Abstract: | Gold Galore Sdn Bhd, was a 100% Bumiputera holding company incorporating in Malaysia since 26 November 1994. The founders of Gold Galore were a couple Hajjah Maimunah binti Mustafa and Haji Mohd Asnawi bin Mohd Ariffin but now it is care taken by their children Mrs. Yasneen Deanna, Mr. Yusri Danial and Mrs. Yasmeen Damia with their advice and guidance during business. Their first shop was at Alor Setar in 2005, and now it had three branches in North Kedah, at Jitra, Langkawi and Pendang led by the couple’ children. However, as the current CEO of the company, Yasneen Deanna is not happy with her mother proposal to open a new branch is Sungai Petani because of their company current financial condition, economic downturn, and the current rate of gold price. Yasneen Deanna prefers to maintain the three existing branches only because the load is already huge for her. She listed the justifications to support her stand to object her mother proposal during a meeting in January 2016. She has been considering on competition, loan and liabilities, insurance coverage, location, operating expenses, promotion, recruitments, market trending and security as factors to object her mother’s proposal. Hence, Yasneen Deanna is likely to preserve the existing branch and add more stock for sale to each branch. At this situation on making decision, she must be wise and strong to determine the future of the company accomplishment but at the same time not to put aside the respects to her mother. After compiled a list of justifications, now, Yasneen Deanna is more prepared to voice her opinion in a meeting in January 2016 |
