dc.description.abstract | The teaching case addresses the issue of maintaining business survival in Fitrah Garment (FG). Being a “telekung” producer, Cik Khad, FG’s Managing Director, was seeking advice from Miss Maria, a consultant, to help FG endure the challenges that the enterprise is facing. FG had depended on a single “telekung” production contract since it started operations, however, as the contract was discontinued, the enterprise was having difficulties in handling its inventories of finished goods and raw materials. The enterprise was also facing the issues of resources unavailability and skills needed in pursuing the business. The teaching case projects the identification and application of management theories, and Miss Maria, the consultant, is required to provide necessary suggestions and motivations on how FG may overcome its issues. The teaching case illustrates a problem case, in the niche area of management. | en_US |
