Abstract: | E-Idaman’s core business was providing a total solution to solid waste management services and public cleaning treatment, recycling and disposal. ‘Preserving our environment’ was the company’s vision. Its mission statements read: (1) leading solid waste management industry through creation, innovation and promotion of environmental awareness for sustainable development, and (2) committed to maximising shareholders’ return of investment and constantly developing and rewarding our employees. With a clear vision and mission, E-Idaman had positioned itself to be a company dedicated to the preservation of the environment while fulfilling its obligation to its shareholders and employees. The company’s headquarters was located in Wisma Idaman, Lot 163 & 164 Jalan BSG 4, Bandar Stargate, Lebuhraya Sultanah Bahiyah, 05400 Alor Setar, Kedah. The company employed 1700 employees, with 120 employees deployed in the seven departments at the headquarters namely: Office of the CEO, Human Resource & Administration, MIS, Finance and Account, Corporate Communication, Contract & Procurement, Quality Improvement and Technical Audit (QITA), Operation and Planning and Fleet Engineering and Maintenance. The company had two subsidiaries, Environment Idaman Sdn Bhd (ENVI) and Green Resources Recycle Sdn Bhd. |
